TexterChat is a young, dynamic, and fast-growing SaaS company developing an Omni-Channel communication platform for businesses, with a strong focus on WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, smart bots, CRM integrations, AI agents, and customer-service automation.

Since 2019, TexterChat has been serving hundreds of customers in the Israeli market with a stable and scalable platform used by businesses, organizations, colleges, institutions, and service teams.

We are looking for a strong hands-on Lead Developer / Tech Lead to take ownership of our technology, infrastructure, code quality, deployments, integrations, and AI-driven development processes — with a real opportunity to grow into a first-time CTO role.

What You’ll Do

Lead the technical development of our SaaS platform

Own architecture, infrastructure, code quality, and technical standards

Manage and review code reviews, pull requests, and release processes

Manage GCP infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, Helm Charts, and deployments

Maintain multiple environments: Dev, Alpha, Beta, and GA environments

Improve CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions

Lead development across Node.js, TypeScript, React, and MongoDB

Support new project onboarding and customer setup scripts

Manage technical aspects of Apple and Android mobile app releases

Lead integrations with CRMs, automation tools, AI agents, and external APIs

Promote unit testing, scalability, security, and clean code practices

Drive adoption of AI tools within the development lifecycle, including AI-assisted PR reviews, code quality improvements, documentation, testing, and deployment workflows

Explore and implement AI capabilities that improve development velocity, product quality, automation, and customer onboarding

Requirements

Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Developer, Senior Full-Stack Developer, or similar role

Strong hands-on experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, and MongoDB

Experience with GCP, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, and GitHub Actions

Experience with SaaS platforms, multi-tenant architecture, and production environments

Strong understanding of CI/CD, code reviews, testing, and release management

Experience with third-party integrations, APIs, automation tools, and AI-based workflows

Interest and practical orientation toward using AI tools in software development, code reviews, testing, documentation, and deployment processes

High ownership, independence, responsibility, and strong problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

Experience with AI agents or AI-powered SaaS products

Experience implementing AI tools into development workflows

Experience with WhatsApp, messaging platforms, or omnichannel communication systems

Experience managing Apple and Android app releases

Experience building internal admin tools and automation scripts

This is a hands-on technical leadership role in a growing SaaS company with an active product, real customers, and complex technical challenges.

Project management and HR are managed by the CEO, while this role focuses on technology, infrastructure, development quality, deployments, integrations, AI adoption, and long-term technical leadership.
